About the Role … As the Senior Finance Analyst, you will support the business vision to have better centralised analytical reporting in relation to projects, business cases, cost and savings. You will work closely with the Financial Control and Analysis Manager to deliver robust and value-added accurate reporting and support creating better processes and controls within the Finance team and wider business. The role will also range to “fact-finding” and analysis across divisions to look for areas of alignment and sharing of best practice in terms of financial analysis and reporting. Your Day to Day … Support the Financial Control and Analysis Manager with centralised commercial analysis and complex financial modelling in order to inform the business of the likely financial implications from different options and/or scenarios relating to complex business issues and decision making. Assist in providing the Finance perspective in major change programmes and projects working across the business with Finance and Non-Finance colleagues. Provide financial evaluations and monthly analysis of change programmes and projects across the Totally Group Continuously review financial processes, systems and business practices to make recommendations for changes which will enhance cost efficiency and streamline operations Support cost saving initiatives and investment projects as and when required, working with the Project Management Office to ensure projects are delivered in line with budget Assist in the preparation of major Group wide financial evaluations – using NPV, ROI and other methodologies as appropriate. Producing and delivering insight for your areas of responsibility to time and quality standards. Provide Executive standard financial analysis of business performance Provide ad hoc analysis and insight to aid interpretation and decision making Key Accountabilities: Building strong stakeholder relationships with the Finance department and wider business. Collaborate with and support co-workers in the Finance department and the wider business. Delivery of timely and accurate financial reporting and analysis Build, develop and maintain key working files and reports Provide critical thinking and added-value insight into the financials and related processes. Continuous improvement in all day-to-day and future activities. Effective and clear communication. Active participation in meetings, projects and other areas of work.
