The shift pattern for this position is Mon – Fri, 8.30am – 5pm.
We have a vacancy for a Band 5 Therapy Radiographer within the Lanarkshire Beatson Radiotherapy Facility; this post is full-time, 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
Lanarkshire Beatson is a Satellite facility linked to The Beatson Cancer Centre in Glasgow, we are located within the grounds of Monklands Hospital in Airdrie, North Lanarkshire.
The facility has two True Beam linear accelerators and one Phillips CT with Advantage Windows Virtual Simulation system.
The post-holder will:
1. Work as part of a small team on a linear accelerator, CT or Pre-Treatment area where they will ensure a highly specialised clinical service is provided to patients.
2. Carry out all routine imaging as per scope of practice and will be responsible for their own development and life-long learning.
3. Supervise students, advise on Imaging, training and development in line with HEI requirements.

4. DCR(T) or BSc in Therapy Radiography (or equivalent)
5. State Registration with HCPC as a Therapy Radiographer

NHS Scotland is reducing their full time working week from 37.5 to 37 hours per week from 1 April 2024 but with no change in pay. This reduction will also be applied pro rata for part time staff.
