We are recruiting for Data Entry Clerk roles working DAYS Monday – Friday for an award-winning global document storage company in Birmingham B6 7EU on an ongoing temporary basis.
Hours & Shifts: Monday to Friday
Days: 7am – 4pm (0700 – 1600)
Pay Rate: £12.19 per hour
As a Data Entry Clerk, you will be working in an office environment based in Birmingham with responsibility for the following:
* Moving boxes of files manually
* Keying in data from the documents into the computer system
* Labelling and scanning documents and boxes
* A performance-driven operation with tight deadlines
The role requires candidates to undergo a basic DBS check and provide verifiable employment/education history as part of the process due to the nature of the client. This is free of charge as Meridian Business Support covers the cost.
We are really keen to hear from applicants with the following:
* Data Entry experience within a fast-paced environment
* A typing speed of 36 words per minute+ and the ability to use side numerical keys on the keyboard
* Basic knowledge of Excel
* Manual handling is required to lift boxes from the pallet for processing and put them back once completed
* Excellent attention to detail is required as the data recorded is critical information that cannot be inputted incorrectly
* Ability to work in a targeted environment
* Good dexterity
