Position: Plant Fitter
Location: Tamworth
Salary: upto £39,000 DOE
Hours: M-F 7am-3.30pm (39hrs)
Plant Fitter Opportunity

Plant Fitter Responsibilities:
- Follow instructions from management or site project teams as required.
- Maintain and service specialist road sweeper plant and equipment, ensuring compliance with legislation, manufacturer requirements, and agreed service schedules.
- Perform planned and reactive maintenance on a range of plant and equipment.
- Take a proactive approach to maintaining clean and orderly work areas.
- Work collaboratively as part of a team, assisting colleagues in maintenance tasks.
- Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations and environmental standards.
- Accurately complete documentation or electronic records in a timely manner.
Plant Fitter Requirements:
- Experience in an operational maintenance environment.
- Skilled in the servicing and maintenance of HGVs and large diesel-driven plant, including hydraulic and electrical systems.
- Knowledge of road sweepers (Aebi Schmidt, Bucher Municipal, Scarab Sweepers, Stock Sweepers, and Kärcher) is highly advantageous.
- Mechanical or electrical qualifications (time-served).
- Ability to diagnose faults and carry out repairs on HGVs and large diesel-driven plant.
- A full UK driving licence, HGV Class 2 qualification would be desirable
- Flexibility to work away from home at times
