Tasks and Responsibilities:
Our Apprenticeship Scheme has been designed to kick start your journey towards becoming an industry expert. You will get hands-on experience and tailored training to support you every step of the way.
* Mentor allocation and guidance
* Additional training provided
* Involvement in projects
* Ensure office facilities are maintained and organised
* Support the site team in preparing correspondences and reports
* Book and facilitate the organisation of meetings, including preparation and distribution of all relevant documents in advance
* Organising and managing diaries
* Sort, maintain, copy, and distribute correspondence as directed
* Meeting and greeting visitors
* Keeping computer databases up to date
Person Specification:
* Reliable
* Eager to learn
* Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal
Qualifications Required:
GCSE grade C/4 or above in English & Maths (or equivalent qualification and/or ability to work towards these Functional Skills).
Apprenticeship Standard:
Business Administrator Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard.
* Functional Skills in Maths and English if required and not previously achieved GCSE grade 4 or above.
* There is a requirement to complete off-the-job training of 6 hours per week; College attendance will contribute, but time spent learning something new, other courses, or any support work that is not in your usual role will also be counted.
* Attendance at College as required.
Working Week:
* 40 hours per week
* Monday to Friday
* 8am to 5pm
Wage:
£18,000 per annum
Additional Information:
The current National Apprenticeship Minimum Wage (NAMW) rate for apprentices is £6.40 per hour. This applies to 16-18-year-old apprentices and those aged over 19 in the first year of their Apprenticeship. For all other apprentices, the National Minimum wage appropriate to their age applies.
