Position Summary:
Under the direction of the Sales Manager, the Strategic Account Manager is dedicated to specific Strategic Accounts and is responsible for directing and executing Sales plans to achieve Customer satisfaction and sales targets. The Strategic Account Manager will be developing client relationship management strategies, establishing strong client relationships, and suggesting innovative solutions to exceed client needs.
Major Responsibilities:
* Deliver consistent revenue and share growth at assigned strategic accounts.
* Execute the following disciplined selling processes to attain quota: 1) Purposeful account planning, 2) Time and territory management, 3) Funnel opportunity management/CRM proficiency, and 4) Value-added solution selling (Powertrain).
* Maximize new business and marketing opportunities via the execution of BU Playbooks.
* Understand customer’s strategic initiatives, align selling approach to meet their needs, and prompt customer stakeholder groups to explore ideas and concerns while serving as the educated facilitator helping guide to a solution.
* Identify Regal Rexnord product gaps to promote New Product Development ideas and serve as industry expert and sales liaison within Regal Rexnord Leadership & Engineering Management to evaluate/execution strategies for Industry or brand promotion based on global competitive conditions, key industry trends, and economic environment.
* Collaborate successfully in a team selling environment with Regional Sales & Division teams and Inside Sales Specialists.
* Leverage Regal Rexnord’s ease of doing business tools to enhance customer experience.
Job Requirements:
* Minimum 7 years of experience in a solution-selling environment in B2B industry dealing with OEMs, End-Users, and Distributors. Technical sales and/or marketing experience in an industrial manufacturing or powertrain industry preferred, and BA/BS in Industrial Technologies/Mechanical Engineering/Industrial Distribution or related field preferred.
* Be technically competent in the knowledge and application of all Regal Rexnord products in served markets. Engage proficient technical support as required.
* Passion to drive Continuous Improvement through 80/20 principles.
* Understanding and working knowledge of CRM and BI Tools.
* Ability to navigate within Regal Rexnord's matrix organization and implement strategies for sustaining profitable growth while analyzing the market beyond the short-term.
* Commitment to the highest level of integrity, honesty, and accountability in all actions.
* Ability to see the world through the eyes of the customer by deeply understanding their business needs, challenges, and concerns.
* Valid driver’s license.
* Travel: 50%.
