Whilst experience in systems, software and technology will be required, our focus is on recruiting someone whose behaviours will allow us to deliver Knowledge Management solutions at pace and to deadlines through effective stakeholder management and a strong collaborative working practices. The main responsibilities of the role will be to support the development of high-quality technical process guidance, related information assets and digital adoption software within one of our major projects. Through this, you will deliver well-structured content and knowledge management solutions that enhance the learner journey, system adoption and user experience. Configuring, developing, testing, and implementing technical changes along with diagnosing and resolving system incidents related to our knowledge systems will also be required. In addition to this, the Knowledge & Content Specialist will act as an ambassador across the business in promoting Knowledge Management best practice and, along with the wider team, support in the delivery of the Knowledge Management vision and strategy. About youYou will have a combination of technical expertise, problem-solving skills, attention to detail and a collaborative mindset. You will have an eye for detail, excellent organisational skills, and a good understanding of various systems and content publishing platforms. You will be skilled in stakeholder management, comfortable working autonomously and at times with ambiguity. You must be able act as a representative of both the internal project and the wider Knowledge Management Team in all of your activities. Essential experience and qualifications: Understanding of knowledge management methodology, best practice and application Strong understanding of SharePoint functionality and capability Experience in application/system configuration, support and development Familiarity with WalkMe Digital Adoption Software or similar technology Proficiency in quality assurance testing, and issue resolution Experience working within an Agile framework, preferably on Azure Dev Ops or similar Awareness of content design/strategy trends and best practices (e.g., taxonomy, infographics, video scripts, graphic design, audio-visual) Understanding of change management frameworks Copywriting experience is desirable but not essential At NFU Mutual, we support an inclusive workplace and value all the differences that make us unique.
