HR Manager Vacancy - 12 month FTC (Maternity Cover)

We are delighted to be supporting a long-standing client in their search for a HR Manager, to cover a maternity leave period of 12-14 months, to commence in April 2025.
This is a fully onsite role based just west of Warrington, Cheshire
Reporting into the MD, and working alongside 1 direct report, you will take charge of all generalist and ER duties on behalf of a workforce of circa. 370 heads. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced HR Manager to really roll their sleeves up, get hands on, and actively contribute to the business' ongoing success.
Key duties will include:
• Supporting Divisional Managers with recruitment and staff development
• Maintaining HR policies, ensuring compliance with UK employment legislation
• Monitoring and help drive employee engagement
• Managing investigations and complex employee relations issues including disciplinary and grievances
• Management ad mentorship of HR Assistant
Ideal candidate profile:
• CIPD level 5 (or equivalent professional HR qualification) as a minimum
• Ideally 5+ years post qualification experience in a senior HR role
• Operationally excellent, and happy to jump in wherever needed; no job to big or small
• Tenacious, self-starter, committed to working with honesty and integrity
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Manufacturing experience highly advantageous but not essential
In return you will receive a base salary in the bracket of £45,000 to £55,000 p.a. dependent on experience, plus a £6k car allowance and discretionary bonus.
