About the role As an Assistant Headteacher, you will play a pivotal leadership role, supporting the Headteacher and Deputy Headteacher to ensure the highest standards of education and fostering a positive, inclusive learning environment. Key responsibilities include: Leading school improvement initiatives and driving high-quality teaching and learning. Overseeing the Pastoral, Behaviour and Attendance elements of primary education, while taking class responsibility (KS1 or KS2). Ensuring high-quality education for all pupils, supporting their progress and achievement. Assisting in the strategic leadership and implementation of policies relating to curriculum, data, and assessment. Contributing to school activities, such as INSET, staff meetings, and parental engagement events. About the School A vibrant and wonderfully diverse school in Rochdale.
