YOUR ROLE
Our multi-user operation based in Kettering is looking for a dedicated and meticulous Warehouse Controller where you will act as the primary contact for all customers, ensuring a seamless and efficient service where you will support warehouse operations.
This role will see you working Monday to Friday, 08:00-16:30.
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
Reporting into the Head of Operations, you will play a pivotal role in supporting both the operational framework and customer requirements focused on KPI reporting, performance tracking and operational activities. You will be the main point of contact for resolving any issues promptly, ensuring a seamless service, where you will continually strive to enhance, grow and develop customer accounts under your ownership.
You will prepare regular reports for clients, summarising performance, metrics, and outcomes where you will maintain detailed records of client projects, ensuring that all communications and deliverables are documented.
In addition, you will investigate service failures, working with operational teams to ensure that appropriate remedial actions are put in place, as well as regularly reviewing internal warehouse management procedures with a view to continuous improvement.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
Our ideal candidate will have previous experience working as stock or warehouse controller ideally within a 3PL or warehousing organisation. You will possess strong customer and stakeholder management skills and be able to build and manage excellent relationship with clients through effective communication.
You will be IT literate with excellent problem solving, analytical and reporting skills, able to use MS Office based programs such as Excel, as well as previous experience using warehouse management systems.
