Co-op Live is looking for a Venue Security Manager to create an industry-leading music and entertainment experience for our fans, artists and the communities of Manchester. At Co-op Live, safety and security are our top priority, and the venue will be one of the safest venues in the world. We will lead the way as we aim to meet or exceed security legislation and standards to ensure all fans and artists are safe and secure. Our security team work with colleagues to deliver a safe and memorable experience for all fans, visitors, and staff at the venue. Contribute to the ultimate fan experience, leading from the team of event security officers to provide exemplary service standards, and drive continuous improvement through regular reviews and management of risk Conduct event security risk assessments which will inform the Event Management Plan and the emergency services’ own risk assessments of each event Work with the Venue Management Team to ensure that each event is appropriately resourced with security resources and assets, including specialist security assets Ensure that all security-related Pre-Event Checks and Security deployments are effectively managed Undertake the venue security manager role during events, and respond to incidents across the venue as part of the venue Incident Response Team Develop security deployment plans in line with the risk assessment Manage the performance, conduct and attendance of contracted security officers, supervisors and managers working at Co-op Live. Support the creation of a safety-first culture whilst embedding a security risk consciousness into the Co-op Live culture Ensure compliance by contracted providers regarding licencing requirements and training levels, including appropriate accreditation To attend and participate in post event debriefs, taking ownership of recommendations and any required action relating to event security Review, develop and maintain security Standard Operating Procedures and initiatives Oversee the use of the building security systems on event days Build strong, positive, and engaging working practices with the Co-op Live 24/7 Building Security Team, Fan Services and also the Security Contractor Management Team Support the Head of Security to deliver the overall security program for Co-op Live which will ensure the physical safety of colleagues and fans, and deliver the right levels of security, safety, privacy and recovery of company assets, including investigations, loss prevention, physical arena security management, commercial tenants, and patrons Ensure that the security team support the safe management of the venue and in the event of an emergency, work as directed by the Venue Safety Officer/incident management team, in line with emergency Standard Operating Procedures What Co-op Live will give to you Alongside the benefit of working with an awesome team of talented people, we want to help you get the best out of your work and have a work life balance.
