On behalf of a well-known supplement company, a Senior Supplement Sales Specialist is required to sell a full range of fats premixes and supplements through key merchants to cattle and sheep farmers in the Midlands area, South of the M62. This job is primarily aimed at business-to-business merchant and feed manufacturing sales.
This key accounts Senior Supplement Sales Specialist will support established merchant customers and their farm customers by promoting and selling its supplement products. Candidates will be expected to support sales by communicating technical product benefits and being involved in on-farm rationing where required.
The job will entail spending time both with merchant distributors and supporting merchant sales selling through to farmers.
Some formal qualifications would be desirable for the role, albeit not essential for the right personality who can sell. Good communication skills are essential for this role; candidates will need to create and develop strong personal relationships with merchant staff.
Good computer and IT skills are essential for this role.
