About the role:
We are looking for an experienced People Advisor to join the People Partnering and Relations team to cover a period of maternity leave of up to one year.
In this role, you will work across a few sites to provide high quality advice and guidance to our people which has been escalated through our tiered model.
It is essential that you build and maintain strong working relationships as you will be responsible for managing a full and varied caseload related to all aspects of informal and first level employee relations, including supporting managers with undertaking investigations.
You will also contribute to the operational delivery of our people plans, organisational change programmes, as well as completing activities such as job evaluations and using People & Culture dashboard information to support managers.
This is a busy role in a small team where the work will provide you with opportunities to proactively develop your own practice and push the boundaries of your own critical thinking.
About you:

1. Degree or CIPD level 5 qualification or similar experience.
2. Recent and relevant core HR skills and experience related to the role.
3. Influence, tenacity and empathy; with the ability to quickly establish credibility within a large and complex organisation.
4. Excellent organisation and time management skills.
5. A collaborative and flexible approach to team working.
This position is offered on a full time, fixed term basis for 1 year, or could be run as an ongoing temp role for the year if that is what you would prefer. This is an active people-facing role; however, they operate a hybrid flexible approach to working with the opportunity to work from home for some of the week.
