Sales Manager – UK Based

About the Role: As the Sales Manager, you will play a key role in growing business with new and existing customers across the marine sector. Working closely with the sales team, you will be responsible for sales strategies, account management, pricing, and customer service while leading a small team.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement detailed sales strategies in collaboration with the sales team.
Lead and manage a team of two sales professionals.
Oversee quoting, pricing, and margin management for key accounts.
Conduct regular account reviews to ensure customer satisfaction and business growth.
Maintain a deep understanding of marine industry trends and products.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring exceptional customer service.
Provide technical sales support both in-person and via video calls.
Manage orders from design through to manufacturing and customer sign-off, particularly for new or custom products.
Identify new market opportunities and provide accurate market data to drive forecasts.
Travel as required, primarily within the UK and Ireland.What We’re Looking For:
Proven experience in a sales management role within the marine industry or a related sector.
Strong leadership skills with experience managing a small team.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills, both written and verbal.
Technical sales competence and ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
A results-driven, team-oriented individual with a positive mindset.
