THE JOB Responsible for the accurate and timely production of monthly management accounts and other management information to support the business operations and to assist in the continual development of financial processes to ensure accurate and relevant information is produced. The successful candidate will: Assist with the planning, coordination and timely submission of accurate statutory and management reporting and accounting in accordance with relevant accounting standards. Preparation of monthly management accounts and accompanying balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring completeness and accuracy whilst adhering to reporting timescales. Play a key role in the development and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure the company's processes are efficient and streamline whilst ensuring that integrity is maintained. Assist with the preparation of annual budgets. Adopt an ethos of continuous improvement across all financial processes and controls. Support the business in any process and system development Collaborate with external auditors and other third parties in respect of regulatory compliance. Adhere to Company and Group policies and procedures, including but not limited to those relating to Safety, Health and Environmental. Ensure all relevant legislation and approved codes of practice are adhered to in respect of on-going compliance. SKILLS, QUALITIES and EXPERIENCE REQUIRED Studying towards or part qualified accountant (CIMA/ACCA) Previous experience in a finance function, ideally in a similar role High proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft office products Experience of using accounting software. Experience of an ERP system is desirable.
