Carbon60 are currently looking for a Customer Operations Advisor to join a client of ours based on the Isover site in Runcorn. This position is a temporary role with an ASAP start running up until 5th January.
Our client is a large engineering company that has over 170 sites across the UK and Ireland. They specialize in various engineering services, providing support to their clients by often basing themselves on customer sites.
Working Hours/Shift Pattern: 8:00-16:00 Monday - Friday, 30 mins lunch.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Service engineers that visit stores.
2. Booking items in/out correctly using on-site IT systems.
3. Stock checks and housekeeping in the stores area.
4. Inventory management.
Essential Skills / Experience / Qualifications:
1. Experience within a stores/warehouse environment.
2. Engineering background or previously worked within an engineering environment to recognize components easily is desirable.
3. Understanding of quality checks in stores environment with goods in/goods out is desirable.
4. Active FLT License - counterbalance highly desirable. If an active license isn't held, the candidate can still be considered but won't be trained or involved in FLT duties. Refresher can be provided for those with an active license.
5. Basic level of IT literacy and numeracy (data entry and remembering part numbers, stock counts, etc.).
6. Communication skills for a customer-facing role.
