Total Staff Services are looking to recruit x 3 Process Operators for our client based in North West Vheshire area. The Process Operators will be responsible for monitoring and controlling the refinery's operations, ensuring the safe and efficient processing of raw materials into high-quality products. The role is critical in maintaining operational standards and optimizing production processes. The successful candidate will start as a No 3 Operator whilst training fully for the role, this can take a year or more but in entirely down to you and your drive and ability. During the training you will complete 3 assessments, with each assessment you complete you will receive a pay increase, currently of £2,470. On completion of 3 assessments you will become a No 2 Operator. Key Responsibilities:- Operate and monitor refinery equipment and processes. Conduct routine inspections of equipment and systems to ensure proper finctioning and adherence to safety regulations. Adjust controls and set points based on real-time data to optimize productions and minimise downtime. Collaborate with maintenance teams to troubleshoot equipment issues and coordinate repairs, including preperation of areas for work. Maintian accurate records of operations including production data, equipment status, and safety checks. Complete sample collections and tank dips as required. Ensuring the smooth operation of shipping requirements for feedstock and product. Participate in safety drills and training, promoting a culture of safety and compliance within the team. Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and company policies regarding waste management and emissions control. Support the training and mentoring of new operators and team members. Assist in the development and implementation of operations procedures and best practice.Must have:- 5 GCSE's at C/4 or above, including maths, english and science Previous experience in a process operation role, preferably in chemical or oil manufacturing environment Good understanding of process control systems and instrumentation Ability to multitask and prioritise in changing conditions Familiarity with safety protocols and environmental regulations Excellent problem solving skills and the ability to work under pressure Effective communication and teamwork skillsAlon with excellent benefits there is a sliding scale of pay due to assessments Hours of work:- 2 days, 2 nights, 6 off - 12 hours, 6-6
