We are looking for a Warehouse First Line Manager to join our prestigious LVMH site in Milton Keynes. You’ll be responsible for leading a team of colleagues and coordinating activities to achieve business goals; through focusing on continuous improvement and promoting a team-based culture.
The role is being offered on a full-time, permanent basis. You’ll join us on a ‘any 5 out of 7’ shift pattern, with rotating days of work between Monday to Friday, Tuesday to Saturday, and Sunday to Thursday. Each two-week rotation will consist of one week of 06:00 – 14:00 and one week of 14:00 – 22:00. Every 12 weeks you also get 4 consecutive rest days!

What you’ll do on a typical day:
* Be responsible for a team in any one of our key operational areas, playing a key role in achieving our daily targets and KPIs.
* Use your people skills to engage in performance-related discussions, supporting and recognizing great individual performance.
* Utilize your understanding of warehouse management systems to keep your team working efficiently and effectively.
* Complete, maintain, and improve shift reports related to people, performance, and regulatory compliance.
What you need to succeed at GXO:
* Experience leading a team of warehouse colleagues within a fast-paced warehouse environment.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a friendly and approachable manner.
* Experience managing conflicting priorities, with the ability to plan and organise a warehouse operation.
* Strong IT skills, including warehouse management systems and Microsoft Office.
