We seek a connected, experienced Sales Representative responsible for the market launch and ongoing revenue generation in New Jersey. More than just sales, this individual will be responsible for selling products to dispensaries, managing dispensary partnerships for both wholesale and DTC channels, and executing on the ground events. This role will support the 710 Labs brand but will be employed by our New Jersey partner, Fresh Cannabis, LLC. For the foreseeable future, this individual will be the sole full time marketing and sales resource in the market, personally executing in store pop ups, consumer and budtender educations, attending or running seshes and local events. Ideal candidates are well organized, strong communicators, driven, ambitious self-starters who have extensive experience in sales and event management. Responsibilities Include: Prospect new accounts, set up meetings with dispensary purchasing managers, and assist in acquiring new accounts. Oversight and assist in the rollout of marketing efforts to retail and end user customers, including staff educations, in store pop ups, and local educational events or seshes. Maintain regular communication with dispensaries, visit dispensaries regularly, and relay feedback from retail customers to the executive team Assist in the oversight and management of on-site and off-site educations for customers and for budtenders education events, hosted company parties, networking mixers, and other events. Maintain expert-level knowledge on our full product catalog as well as the latest trends in the cannabis industry Maintain customer databases and ensure that all information is up-to-date and accurate Monitor the status of deliveries and stay in regular communication with Sales reps and dispensary clients, account management, and warehouse fulfillment staff to ensure deadlines are met. Leverage sales tools to log store visits, create sales reports, and create customer presentations using data and analytics Complete weekly and monthly reporting to the executive team. Work with production to develop weekly menus. Qualifications: Minimum 3 years prior cannabis sales experience with account management required Strong people management skills Proven track record of building new business and meeting/exceeding quotas in a prior sales position Proficient technical skills including use of MS Office, Google Drive, and CRM software Responsibility & accountability (you must take ownership of your team, accounts, and all issues related to them) Excellent attention to detail (this role will require important data entry, so accuracy is critical) Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills This job requires driving so must be able to meet all licensing and insurance requirements Reliable transportation is necessary Proven ability to manage and coach a team effectively to meet their goals Please note that the regulations and laws of The State of New Jersey require persons working onsite at a cannabis facility to be at least 21 years of age.
