Elevation Recruitment Group are seeking an experienced Health & Safety Manager to lead and develop our clients HSE strategies, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations in the hazardous waste sector. You will play a critical role in maintaining a safe working environment, minimizing risk, and fostering a strong safety culture across our operations. Key Responsibilities Develop, implement, and maintain health & safety policies in line with industry regulations (e.g., COSHH, HSE, Environmental Agency guidelines) Conduct risk assessments and ensure the safe handling, storage, and disposal of hazardous materials Deliver HSE training to employees and promote a safety-first culture Lead incident investigations and drive continuous improvements in safety performance Ensure compliance with waste management regulations and liaise with regulatory bodies Monitor and report on HSE performance metrics What We’re Looking For NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent qualification in Health & Safety Proven experience in a hazardous waste, chemical, or environmental services environment Strong knowledge of HSE legislation and industry best practices Excellent leadership and communication skills Ability to influence and engage teams at all levels What’s in It for You?
