Wood is recruiting a Health, Safety, Security & Environmental Manager (HSSE) to support our Process & Energy Service Line across the UK. This role could be based in Stockton, Glasgow or Ellesmere Port's office.
Minimum Qualifications
* NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent.
* Trained and competent Internal Auditor.
* Membership of a recognised HSSE related institute (IOSH, MIIRSM, IEMA etc.).
* ONC/HNC or equivalent in Technical, HSEQ or related industry.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
* 8+ years HSE experience, preferably with some exposure to roles with supporting multi-contract/location portfolios.
* Some experience practicing HSSE in the Oil & Gas or similar high-hazard sector is preferred.
* Knowledge of HSSE standards and legal requirements.
* Experience of working with Quality and HSSE Management Systems.
* Experience leading a team is required.
* Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office.
* Excellent planning and organisational skills.
* Knowledge of internal and external audits and third-party certification audit practices.
