Are you a strong Administrator who has a good work ethic and a can-do attitude? Due to progression, my client has a vacancy for an Office Assistant based in Burton on Trent. This role is very varied, so it requires a candidate that is flexible and adaptable and has a good knowledge of Excel.
Working Monday - Friday 8.30am - 5.00pm with an hour lunch each day. Excellent salary of between £22,000 - £24,000 depending on experience.
Key Duties
1. Office Administration:
o Provide general support and administration to the busy sales office, answering phone, dealing with customer queries and orders, and general administration.
o Provide ad-hoc reports to the sales team and others based on information extracted from the NAV system.
2. Purchasing:
o Enter forecast demand information received from customers into the NAV system.
o Ensure accuracy of supplier order information - lead times, ETAs, etc.
o Maintain inventory information - MOQ's, lead times, order multiples.
o Place orders on suppliers based on agreed purchase requirements.
o Liaise with the Far East office on the processing and tracking of orders.
3. Supplier Management:
o Work with the Office Manager to maintain accurate information on suppliers, including costing spreadsheets and price comparisons.
Experience
1. Previous administration experience.
2. Strong Excel skills.
3. Previous ERP system experience.
