As a Medicines Management Technician at North Devon District Hospital, you will join a small and friendly team, playing a crucial role in delivering a high-quality medicines management service across a diverse range of wards.
The successful candidates will provide a medicines management service across the acute trust, including one stop dispensing, assessment of patients' own drugs, medicines reconciliation, discharge facilitation, and be part of the technician checking rota as appropriate.

Job responsibilities
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Pharmacy Technician to join our friendly Medicines Management team in North Devon. We have a fully electronic prescribing system which is increasing the involvement and engagement of patients, carers, and staff, transforming clinical services and care.
Our team of hardworking, focused, ambitious, and friendly Medicines Management Technicians have helped develop the service across the trust and are valued members of the Clinical Pharmacy and ward teams making this an excellent opportunity to work with a wide range of patients and healthcare professionals whilst developing your skills and experience in Pharmacy.
This post is suitable for those registered technicians who already have an appropriate accredited checking qualification and medicines management qualification. However, we would welcome applications from registered technicians/newly qualified technicians without these qualifications who would be keen to work towards a Band 5 post and to achieve the qualifications within twelve months of appointment.
Working Pattern: 37.5 hours per week with occasional weekend and Bank Holiday working.
