Join our close-knit team at Glebedale School, a special needs school providing for pupils aged 7 and upwards. We focus on therapy, education, and personal development to help pupils grow academically, socially, and emotionally. Our recent Ofsted rating is "Good".
Responsibilities
* Safeguard and promote the welfare of pupils and young people
* Work according to professional standards, legal requirements, and school policies
* Manage specific areas of work, reviewed annually within the performance management cycle
* Set appropriate expectations and targets for pupils
Knowledge and Understanding
* School’s vision, aims, and curriculum policies
* Statutory curriculum and assessment requirements
* High-quality teaching strategies and standards
* Implications of the special educational needs code of practice
