Set in its own beautiful grounds, Cranwell Court comprises a range of spacious, self-contained apartments with kitchen and bathroom facilities, giving residents their own front door and private space.
The company is unable to sponsor the employment of international workers in this role. You will be required to provide evidence of your right to work in the UK.
Pay & Hours:
* £13.00 per hour
* 36.75 hours per week
* Day or night shifts available
* Casual positions also available
* Working on a rota covering 7 days per week (every other weekend)
* £500 welcome bonus (£250 to be paid at 2 milestones)
The Role:
You will oversee the care team and ensure the safe delivery of care, support, and medication with all standards met during your shift. You will be fully supported by both the Deputy and Residential Manager. Main responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* Coach and mentor new and existing staff
* Review care plans
* Prepare, administer, store, record, and order medication
* Personal care (washing, dressing, oral hygiene)
* Maintain and develop professional relations with families
* Reporting any safeguarding concerns
* Promote independence of our residents at all times to improve their quality of life
About you:
* Have an NVQ Level 2 in Care; however, this is not essential as our Team Leader Development Programme will support those wanting to take the next step in their career
* Be confident in supervising others and managing/prioritizing workloads
* Be able to work as part of a team
* Have a positive attitude.
Additional Information:
Cranwell Court is a 56-bed purpose-built Care Home split between a 17-bedded enhanced dementia unit and a 39-bed residential development situated on Cambridge Road in Grimsby.
The HICA Group is a ‘Not for Profit’ organisation providing a range of care services to elderly clients and people with learning difficulties, across a range of services, including our care homes, residential settings, and in the community.
The successful candidate will be required to undertake an enhanced DBS check.
