We are looking for a highly organised and detail-oriented Purchase Ledger and Cash Book Clerk to join our finance team in Great Yarmouth. This role is part of a small team responsible for managing purchase ledger activities for our UK-based AST group companies. Working closely with the Finance Business Partners and Group Finance Manager, you will ensure the accurate and timely processing of invoices and payments.

Responsibilities and Deliverables:
* Check, code, process, and scan supplier invoices using our ERP system (NetSuite).
* Set up and maintain supplier accounts.
* Resolve invoice-related queries efficiently.
* Prepare twice-monthly payment runs.
* Process weekly cash expense payments and credit card expenses.
* Manage cash books, including posting receipts and bank reconciliations.
* Communicate with suppliers via phone and email.
* Allocate currency invoices to contracts.
* Provide ad-hoc cover for team members as needed.

Essential Experience / Qualifications / Educational attainments
* Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar Purchase Ledger role.
* Practical knowledge of Purchase Ledger systems.
* Experience working with multiple currencies.
* Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills.
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
* Self-disciplined, efficient, and proactive.
* Ability to work to tight deadlines.
* Experience with Scan & Capture software and NetSuite.
