Receptionist - Outpatients Department Henley on Thames
An opportunity has arisen for a part-time, keen, hardworking receptionist at Townlands Memorial Hospital. The post holder will be responsible for delivering an effective and efficient support service to the Outpatients department, assisting in the provision of quality patient care. This includes welcoming patients and being the first point of contact for patients attending the hospital. The role will involve checking patients in, booking appointments, and answering the telephone, while communicating effectively with the multi-disciplinary team and the public.
Main duties of the job
1. Greet patients when they arrive at the hospital and direct them to the appropriate waiting area.
2. Check patients in on GPAS.
3. Deal with enquiries from patients, relatives, and members of primary and secondary care teams.
4. Maintain good communication with other departments.
