Merchandise Account Manager\nSalary to £40,000 + Commission/Bonus\nHybrid with 4 days office based and 1 day a week wfh\n\nWe are recruiting exclusively for our Leeds based client, a dynamic Creative Merchandise Agency, for an ambitious and enthusiastic career driven Account Mangaer to join their team. If you are looking to develop your career within a vibrant and creative work environment, this role is the perfect opportunity with excellent development opportunities.\n\nAs a Merchandise Account Manager, you will join a fast paced lively team with responsibility for managing key client accounts for the business, leading and managing projects from renowned clients and brands.
This is an agency type environment and you will gain exposure to well-known clients such as Jet2, Benefit Cosmetics, Marriott Hotels and many more.... You will attend and lead on new client meetings, working strategically with clients to develop relationships and maximise the overall ROI, proactively managing the full client project cycle, comunicating during the full end to end process, giving direction to 2 members of the team.\n\nWe are looking for an experienced Account Manager who ideally has branded merchandise experience or a Print or \nProduct led background. You will be driven and focused in your approach, a strong communicator with the ability to \nbuild rapport with ease, with the ability to lead at face to face meetings, focussed on providing exceptional service as \nwell as priding yourself on meticulous attention to detail.
\n\nKey responsibilities of the Merchandise Account Manager: \n\nWorking with existing key accounts to develop customer plans to exceed customer expectations and increase \nrevenue\nLeading client meetings to introduce yourself initially and then on an ongoing basis to implement client plans\nIdentifying new opportunities to grow existing accounts, including cross selling other services and products\n'Soft' leadership within the team, to lead and give direction on client projects\nWorking closely with other areas of the business including Marketing and other teams\nCreating a sales strategy for existing key accounts, having proactive and ongoing communication with customersfrom end to end throughout the full project life cycle\nResearching products, what is on trend and what will match your client's needs, creating decks and product \npresentations\nProviding an upward flow of reporting to management on your accounts and on activity within the merchandise \nteam\nWorking on briefs and ensuring artwork processes are adhering to brand guidelines and internal procedures\nBuilding effective working relationships internally with key departments, e.g. artwork and production, to ensure orders are produced on time\nConsistently focusing on excellent service standards going above and beyond and seeing any possible issues \nthrough to resolution Experience Required: \n\nWe are looking for a skilled and experienced Account Manager with experience within branded or general \nmerchandise, print or a product led business\nA proactive candidate who is constantly reviewing client activity, looking at possible areas of new business and \nsales growth\nExcellent commercial acumen and communication skills to develop relationships with key customer accounts\nDriven, focused and with a very high standard of delivery within all areas of your work\nA natural leader who will positively motivate the team and is detail focused\nCustomer centric within all areas of your work\nA naturally engaging individual with excellent interpersonal skills\nSomeone with a vibrant personality who wants to join and contribute to a fantastic, lively team\nStrong initiative and drive to succeed within a role This is an excellent opportunity to work within a superb business that provides a social and dynamic working culture.
