MBDA Missile Systems – Together. For the Future of Defence. Integration & Systems Validation (ISV) Summer Placement ISV are responsible for the proving software, hardware and systems in the latest Complex Weapons capabilities. This includes planning and documentations trials, conducting test activities in on-site laboratories and with off-site companies, and reporting and analysing data. You will be conducting these tasks across a wide range of trials activities: Ground Trials: environmental testing, electro-magnetic compatibility testing, sub-system field trials Firing Trials: qualification firings, customer demonstrations, de-risking and development firings Flight Trials: environmental data-gathering, seeker data-gathering, datalink communications, functional air carriage, firing trial de-risking Functional Integration: system compatibility, missile/launcher preparation, synthetic environment In-Service Support: life monitoring & extension, supporting in-service firings, interacting with the customer This role is suited to those that enjoy the creativity and practicality of working with problems to arrive at logical solutions.
