Closing Date – Applications close 22nd November at 5pm A chance to thrive We’re looking for an Associate Operational Analyst to work alongside the Software Asset Management lead. You’ll have the opportunity to carry out activities that optimise the value, costs and reduce risks of the software asset lifecycle while aligning to the business strategic requirements. You’ll have opportunities to work with key stakeholders and grow the Software Asset Management process using ServiceNow SAM Pro toolset. What you’ll be doing Working with stakeholders to validate and add software entitlement records into ServiceNow SAM Pro. Managing software entitlement ensuring all inventories and changes are managed robustly, in compliance with licencing terms and policies at all times. Implementing and promoting rigorous governance throughout software lifecycle. Identifying opportunities to drive value and improve the performance of the existing and potential software base, seeking ways to drive innovation in processes, reduce costs through decommissioning unused software, reduce risks, improve performance and stimulate competition between qualified suppliers Create software compliance reports in ServiceNow SAM Pro. You’ll also: Support stakeholder engagement by arranging actions, meetings, and events. Produce, update and provide support on a wide range of MS documents, databases and systems to support the work of senior colleagues. Contribute to the preparation of various data and analytics reports within the IT Currency space. Produce accurate reports by collecting data and inputting it into standard reporting formats. Prepare moderately complex documents using Microsoft Office and responsible for gathering and summarising data for reports. Manage ongoing currency issues and controls within the department. Assist stakeholders with the management of their currency related issues. Use data management systems to access specific information as and when required. Develop knowledge and understanding of policies and procedures, relevant regulatory codes and codes of conduct to ensure own work adheres to those standards. We need you to have Strong analytical, problem-solving skills and be detail-oriented. Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical information into understandable terms. Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail. Strong collaboration and negotiation skills, with a background in vendor relationship management. Ability to drive stakeholder management meetings and progress output. And if you have any of these, even better Proven experience in Software Asset Management, IT Asset Management, IT Currency, or a similar role. Experience of ServiceNow SAM Pro. Experience working with Excel.
