Overview of role
Location: West Bromwich
The role of a Multi-Skilled Shift Engineer is a varied and challenging one. Working shifts, you will be expected to identify and deliver continuous improvement initiatives alongside proactive and reactive maintenance and repairs to the plant and site services associated with a major bakery. Striving towards plant efficiency by working to daily engineering planned maintenance.
Key Accountabilities
* Diagnose and correct automation, electrical and mechanical issues to resolve breakdown situations.
* Ensure our engineering strategy is delivered consistently.
* Deliver turn-key improvement projects in a timely and cost-efficient manner.
* Drive the performance of the Engineering function forward.
* Focus on safe working practices and site performance KPI's including OEE and CCOs.

* A Higher National Certificate (HNC) in an electrical, automation or multiskilled engineering discipline is desirable, supported by suitable experience.
