This post will be based at Glyncornel in the Rhondda supporting a team which provides intensive intervention to support families and prevent placement breakdowns. This is an administrative role and will be undertaking Reception duties, generic administrative tasks such as data entry, word processing, issuing petty cash and other generic finance work such as generating electronic orders and any other tasks required which are grade appropriate. Hours Per Week : 37.00 Start Date : 09/12/2024 End Date : 28/02/2025 Start Time : 08:30 End Time : 17:00 Duties include: Filing including all filing systems Data input and retrieval including Word Processing. Reception Duties. Taking and relaying messages and receiving visitors. Mail – receiving and distribution. Ordering goods, keeping associated records and processing of invoices Undertaking all generic office tasks such as photocopying Assisting with the operation of the projects petty cash account (ensuring availability of funds, payment of petty cash and keeping accurate records and completion of petty cash return) SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES: Assist in the production of reports including tables and graphs for the Project. Security- In the absence of other project staff, to open the building in the mornings and lock the building in the evenings, ensuring that all windows and doors are secured and alarm set. To undertake such other duties and responsibilities commensurate with the grade, as may be reasonably required by the Service Director, or as a mutually agreed development opportunity. To comply with the Council’s Health and Safety Policies and procedures and undertake any relevant health and safety duties in accordance with local arrangements. To support the Council to play its part in tackling Climate Change and meeting its Carbon Reduction targets across the services it delivers and also in the goods and services it buys or commissions from other organisations.
