Remuneration: £50,000 neg + uncapped commission

The role of the Area Sales Manager - Plumbing Systems & Underfloor Heating will involve:
1. Field sales position, selling a manufactured range of plumbing pipes & fittings, underfloor heating, pre-insulated pipework, and district heating.
2. Interaction with M&E contractors.
3. 70% of your time will be spent selling to M&E contractors & installers.
4. 30% of your time selling into independent & national merchants such as MP Moran, UKPS & MKM.
5. Turnover target circa £350k.
6. Project sizes vary however £350-£1k per house.
7. 70% new business / 30% account management.
The ideal applicant will be an Area Sales Manager - Plumbing Systems & Underfloor Heating with:
1. Technical field sales experience with plumbing & heating contractors and merchants.
2. Ideally sold to M&E contractors, installers and plumbing & heating merchants.
3. Preferably from the commercial HVAC, M&E, building services industry.
4. Preferably a manufacturing field sales background, but also open to a distribution field sales background if previously worked for a manufacturer.
5. IT savvy, able to create sales plans.
6. Ideally with knowledge of commercial plumbing and heating products such as pipes & fittings, heat interface units, district heating, underfloor heating, pre-insulated pipework.
7. Energetic self-starter capable of handling multiple tasks to deadlines.
8. Calm, trustworthy, and professional approach.
