Overview
The Manager II provides leadership to leaders and/or professionals and is accountable for the performance and results of multiple related teams. Decisions are guided by division objectives. The Leadership impacts the business results of a division by setting priorities, allocating resources, and developing policies and plans. The Mgr. II - Data Center Mgmt. is responsible for managing data center operations.
Responsibilities
* Ensure the Data Center & Computer Operations focus specializes in the firm's data center adhere to established procedures
* Monitoring performance of computing equipment, and coordinating equipment installation / delivery schedules
* Evaluates recovery systems / services to ensure timely / efficient data and information processing
Qualifications
* More than 5 years experience of management of technology operations in critical environments
* Extensive technical knowledge and understanding and three to five years' experience
* Knowledge and understanding of data center power, cooling, network, structured cabling, server, and storage infrastructure
* Manage multiple data centers and vendors and oversee all aspects of multiple data centers
* Manages various vendor relationships to ensure performance service levels are met
* Proven ability in managing multiple vendor relationships ensuring performance service levels are met
* Leadership experience making decisions with minimal direction and prioritizing across multiple competing demands
* Mentoring and developing managers and leads such that they can run daily operations with minimal supervision
* Proven ability to plan and manage budgets
* Bachelor's Degree Information Technology or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00AM - 4:30PM
