Job summary
We are looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic administration assistant to join the Hull and East Riding Community Intermediate Care Team.
The post holder will be a member of City Health Care Partnership Therapies and Rehab portfolio, supporting the Hull and East Riding Intermediate Community Team across Hull and East Riding.
You will provide comprehensive administrative and clerical support within a health care center setting. The work will include support to the operations manager, clinical Team Leader's and clinical disciplines and the day-to-day supervision of any junior staff, bank staff or apprentices. You will be expected to work unsupervised and autonomously.
Main duties of the job
The role will include following duties: patient enquiries, referral management, appointment booking, diary management, minute taking, filing, typing, placement of oracle orders, room bookings, coordinating meetings including multidisciplinary meetings, supporting with the e-roster management system and on a monthly basis assisting with performance reporting.
The successful candidate should have excellent communication, time management, organisation and team working skills, and to be able to work within in a busy service with fluctuating demands.

Essential
1. Level 3 in Business Administration or Customer Service or equivalent knowledge and experience
2. Word processing to RSA 2 standard of European Computer Driving License (EDCL) or able to demonstrate appropriate level of skill
Knowledge & Experience

3. Comprehensive knowledge of a range of routine administration procedures
4. Knowledge of a range of software programmes, including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
5. Previous experience of working in an office environment and carrying out general officer procedures
6. Previous experience of supervising a team
7. Previous experience of working with general public

8. Knowledge of other Microsoft packages
