Designer Recruitment are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a well-established business, based in Kendal, specialising in providing high-quality kitchens and bedrooms for property developers. We are looking for an experienced and creative Contract Kitchen Designer to join their team. This role involves close collaboration with our Contracts team and regular travel to client sites. A valid driving license and your own vehicle are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
* Work closely with the Contracts team to modify standard kitchen designs based on customer specifications.
* Conduct site visits to developer sites to ensure designs meet client needs.
* Welcome contract customers to the showroom, understand their requirements, and guide them through the kitchen layout using CAD design software.
* Discuss potential upgrades and additional features, including bedroom designs.
* Generate inspirational CAD images and M&E drawings based on customer selections.
* Liaise with house builders' Sales Managers and on-site sales teams to ensure clear communication.
* Follow up with customers to ensure timely kitchen selections and manage compliance processes.
* Maintain a digital portfolio of completed projects, including photo images.
* Deliver exceptional customer service and manage multiple projects efficiently.
Qualifications:
* Minimum of 2 years' experience in Kitchen Design, ideally using Winner Compusoft.
* Experience with German Kitchens is advantageous.
* Strong time management and organizational skills.
* Excellent interpersonal skills for developing and maintaining client relationships.
