Reed Accountancy are delighted to be working with an amazing client in Cramlington in their search for an experienced Accounts Manager to join their team on a full-time permanent basis. The successful candidate will oversee the entire accounts function within the company, managing multiple accounts, ensuring accurate and timely invoicing, handling exports and imports, and complying with various VAT regulations. Working in a small team, your duties will include: • Manage and maintain the company’s financial records, including accounts payable and receivable. • Prepare and issue invoices in multiple currencies (GBP & USD). • Handle export and import documentation and processes. • Ensure compliance with different VAT regimes and other regulatory requirements. • Reconcile bank statements and manage cash flow. • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. • Assist in budget preparation and financial planning. • Liaise with external auditors and tax advisors. • Implement and maintain accounting policies and procedures. • Provide financial analysis and insights to support business decisions. You will have: • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role. • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices. • Experience with multi-currency accounting. • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite. • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
