Reporting to the Production Manager, you will play a key role in supporting our Paint Shop as we expand to meet the demands of a growing customer base. What will you be doing? As a Composite Paint Technician, you will be responsible for: Preparing and masking composite components in readiness for painting. Applying a range of primers, paints, and coatings. Conducting finishing tasks on painted components to ensure they meet inspection standards. Operating spray booths and ovens with precision. Managing paint mixing and other painting equipment systems effectively. Managing disposal and recycling of paint and other chemicals. Upholding Health and Safety regulations. Maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of the paint shop. Engaging in continuous improvement activities. What do we need from you? Proven expertise and experience in spray booth paint methods and processes. Experience working in an Aerospace environment. Not essential but desirable: knowledge of composite painting methods. Attention to detail with and the ability to work to written processes. Strong communication skills. A proactive, flexible attitude and a willingness to adapt to changing priorities.
