Contract Type: 12 Month Fixed Term Contract (Maternity Cover)
Reporting to: Head of Product
Location: THG HQ, Manchester (WA15 0AF) FULLY OFFICE BASED

As a Garment Technologist at Myprotein, you’ll have the opportunity to lead and shape the technical standards and innovation in our sports apparel brand, MP. You will play a key role in elevating product quality, engaging with cross-functional teams, and leading technical expertise for optimal consumer satisfaction.
As a Garment Technologist, you’ll:
* Lead fit sessions and oversee the fitting process, from first prototype to production sign-off.
* Drive solutions for complex fit, quality, and construction issues across diverse product categories.
* Evaluate and approve sealing samples across different stages.
* Collaborate closely with design, buying, and quality control teams.
* Develop and implement quality control measures.
* Mentor and develop Assistant Garment Technologists.
What skills and experience do I need for this role?
* Degree in Fashion Technology, Garment Technology, or a related field.
* Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant industry experience.
* Strong expertise in garment construction, pattern cutting, and grading.
* In-depth understanding of garment and fabric testing standards.
* Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
* Proficiency with computer-aided design (CAD) systems.
* Effective leadership and communication skills.
* Ability to travel as necessary.
