Support Practitioner Job Opportunity at #TeamSunnybank
Are you looking for a rewarding new job that offers satisfaction and meaningful work? We have an excellent opportunity for you!
Our dedicated team at #TeamSunnybank in Aberdeen is seeking caring, compassionate, and flexible colleagues to join us as Support Practitioners on both permanent and relief contracts. Contract hours range from 16 to 39 hours per week.
The Role
Join a friendly, dedicated team supporting three gentlemen and one lady with complex learning and physical disabilities in their shared home. No two days are the same, making this a dynamic and fulfilling role.
Your main responsibilities include supporting individuals with daily needs such as personal care, shopping, finances, cooking, housework, and medication. You will also engage with their hobbies and interests, including music, films, activities, walks, outings, cinema visits, swimming, discos, and arts & crafts.
About You
No prior experience is necessary; we focus on values and transferable skills. Due to communication barriers with those we support, excellent spoken and written English skills are essential.
We will provide training, practical skills development, and fund your SVQ (SCQF level 6/7) qualification and annual SSSC registration fees.
What We Need From You
* A caring and compassionate attitude
* Ability to work well in a team
* Good communication and organizational skills
* A positive attitude and willingness to learn
* Confidence in using computers
* Ability to cook
Shift Patterns
Our support is available 24/7, requiring flexibility for early mornings, days, evenings, sleepovers, weekends, and public holidays. Please note that these roles do not accommodate university or college schedules.
Sleepover shifts are not part of contracted hours but are compensated with an additional payment of £100.80 per shift.

If you're interested, apply today! We aim to fill these positions promptly and may close the advert early if suitable candidates are found.
