Key Responsibilities Contracts Management – Prepare, review, and manage contracts for projects, ensuring compliance and protecting the company’s interests. Systems and Processes – Develop and implement effective systems and processes to streamline operations and improve efficiency. Budgeting and Cost Control – Work closely with our Financial Controller to manage project budgets, monitor expenditures, and forecast costs. Job Costings and Pricing – Accurately price jobs, track costs, and analyze performance to ensure profitability. Supplier and Subcontractor Management – Negotiate rates and terms with suppliers and subcontractors, maintaining strong working relationships. Reporting and Analysis – Provide detailed cost reports, financial forecasts, and progress updates to senior management. Risk Management – Identify and mitigate potential risks related to project costs and contracts. What you’ll need to succeed A qualified Quantity Surveyor with proven experience in the construction industry. Strong knowledge of cost management, and construction processes. Exceptional organizational and analytical skills with a keen eye for detail. Proficiency in relevant software tools for cost analysis and reporting.
