Job overview
The Perinatal Pelvic Health Service administrator role is a new and exciting post within the Women's Health Physiotherapy service. The post-holder will be required to take an active part in helping to run, monitor and evaluate the service. This includes data input, analysis, and statistical collection across all three outpatient sites, as well as providing effective and efficient administrative and reception support for the Perinatal Pelvic Health Service (PPHS) and the wider Therapy Department.
Main duties of the job
* The successful candidate will work within the small Women's Health Physiotherapy team, providing an effective and efficient reception service to patients and visitors to the department.
* Data input, analysis, and statistical collection across all three outpatient sites for the PPHS.
* The post-holder will assist in the basic day-to-day running of the department including answering the phone, rearranging appointments, ordering equipment, managing stock levels, issuing and cleaning equipment, as well as administrative tasks such as photocopying and sending out letters and information to patients.
* The person appointed will register referrals and book patient appointments, managing this across all three sites, acting as a point of contact for the public and staff of the Therapy department.
* The applicant needs to have excellent interpersonal skills, be confident and outgoing, and thrive in a busy and sometimes stressful environment.

Education, Qualifications & Training
* Level 3 GCSEs (grade C or above or equivalent to include English)
* RSA I / II or equivalent typing/ keyboard qualification
* Excellent keyboard skills / use of Microsoft Word and Excel
* European Computer Drivers Licence (or equivalent)
Experience
* Secretarial/reception experience dealing with face-to-face patients or customers
* Experience using word, excel spreadsheets, and data analysis
* 6 months experience within a customer care (face-to-face) environment
Skills, Abilities and Knowledge
* Clear, concise verbal and written communication skills
* Good organisational skills
* Flexible and adaptable in approach to work
* Able to undertake manual handling tasks
* Ability to travel to other Trust sites if required
