La Fosse is proud to partner with a rapidly growing international company operating in the retail and service sectors. The organisation is undergoing a digital transformation and is seeking a Lead Data Scientist to drive innovation and unlock the value of their data.
As a Lead Data Scientist, you’ll work with diverse datasets, develop machine learning models, and deliver actionable insights to optimise business performance and operations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Building hypotheses and validating their business impact.
* Developing machine learning models and optimisation pipelines.
* Leverage advanced statistical and machine learning techniques to build accurate forecasting models, enabling data-driven decision-making and optimising business operations.
* Develop and refine dynamic pricing models to maximise revenue and profitability, incorporating market trends, customer behaviour, and competitive analysis.
* Translating technical data into actionable recommendations for stakeholders.
* Designing interactive dashboards using Power BI to visualise real-time insights.
* Collaborating with the Data Engineering team to create scalable data solutions.
Core Technical Skills:
* 3+ years of experience in data science/advanced analytics or machine learning role.
* Strong programming skills in Python; familiarity with Azure and Power BI is essential.
* Experience in regression analysis, classification, clustering, and feature engineering.
* Proven ability to deliver high-impact insights and present to senior stakeholders.
* Experience building accurate forecasting models, enabling data-driven decision-making and optimising business operations.
* Experience building dynamic pricing models to maximise revenue and profitability, incorporating market trends, customer behaviour, and competitive analysis.
