We are seeking an accomplished Sales Manager to develop new business opportunities, along with supporting existing accounts for Emerson’s C&S (Controls & Software) in the UK&I.
The successful candidate will deliver results by utilising the full C&S portfolio to penetrate new accounts, maximise sales into existing and industry sectors.

In this role, your responsibilities will be:
1. Growing existing accounts and winning new business through identifying opportunities, including new markets, clients and potential new industry partnerships.
2. Building relationships and partnering with new clients, understanding their business drivers and needs, to successfully position Emerson C&S and ultimately make clients more successful.
3. Developing new business plans, win strategies, win themes and penetration plans.
4. Liaise with C&S teams to lead customer opportunities within the region.
5. Collaborate across SBU’s to further develop opportunities.
6. Accurately handle ‘Area new business plan’, regional forecasting and booking data for C&S throughout the fiscal year.
7. Develop a strong understanding of Emerson's products, the competitive market and landscape positioning to maximise success.
8. Represent, promote and position Emerson C&S within our served industries.
9. Actively and productively utilise the available sales and support processes, including Solution Selling, Account Plans, CRM (Customer Relationship Management system), sales negotiation and presentations.
10. Ensure full compliance with legal and Company requirements with regards to Trade Compliance and Ethical Business and follow the necessary procedures.

For This Role, You will Need:
1. Background and experience in New Business Development and Account Management.
2. Consistent record of direct selling in a B2B environment.
3. Experience of establishing long term relationships with external customers.
4. Good understanding of Edge, IOT, IIOT and Industry 4.0.
5. Experienced at Solution and Service contract selling.
6. Demonstrate a consultative approach to selling.
7. Demonstrate a pro-active, flexible and pragmatic approach.
8. Ability to travel and stay away from home in order to fulfil duties of the role.
