The de Ferrers Academy
The de Ferrers Academy is a part of The de Ferrers Trust. We are a Multi Academy Trust currently based in Staffordshire and Derbyshire, consisting of 3 Secondary Academies and 4 Primary Academies.
Following on from 10 years as a specialist Technology College, de Ferrers became an Academy in January 2011. It has grown into a large, split-site, co-educational institution catering for students ages 11-18. In 2015, de Ferrers became the first school of The de Ferrers Trust.
Our vision is to ensure that all children and young people in our care have the opportunity to fulfil their potential through achieving highly, regardless of their ability or background.

The Candidate
We are looking to appoint a highly organised, efficient, and effective administrator to join our Business Team at The de Ferrers Academy. This role will support the Academy Business Office by maintaining and organising effective financial systems and people functions within the school. You will assist with HR and Finance responsibilities while providing additional administrative support as required.
You will possess excellent attention to detail and the ability to work to a high level of accuracy. Strong interpersonal skills are essential for working well with all stakeholders. Experience with data systems and competence in computerised records/management information systems will be beneficial for this role. Knowledge of school systems such as SIMS would be advantageous but not essential, as comprehensive training will be provided.
