Purpose of the Role
We are seeking an Access Possessions Planner for the South East Route, the role will see you based out of Brentwood/Dartford/Stratford offices managing the possession plan for Track Renewals Plain Line CP5 & CP6 Programme – planning worksites/possession/project arrangements, submitting possession request forms using the PPS system & supporting the Construction Teams on possession arrangements
Person Specification
1. Good Understanding of the construction / railway industry.
2. Proven experience in access planning and the use of PPS is essential.
3. Highly effective motivator with strong written and spoken communication skills and the capability of interfacing at all levels in the organisation.
4. An ability to handle short term pressures arising from short term deadlines to achieve planning targets.
5. Computer Literacy and the use of planning tools such as PPS, NROL, EAS, ACT.
Key Responsibilities
6. Collate and input possession requirements.
7. Assist with the provision of information into the planning of all works.
8. Liaise with the infrastructure maintainer.
9. Produce possession plans and identify possession/isolation limits.
10. Attend all pre-possession meetings to ensure possession/isolations are of the greatest benefit to Track Renewals.
11. Brief planned possession works to all parties.
12. Produce possession, access and protection planning on behalf of the project team.
13. Assist the project team as directed by Management.
14. Deputise for OTM/Train Planner as required.
15. Provide compliant worksites with Train, OTM & isolation plans for the project works and ensure the team understand requirements.
16. Highlight efficiencies that can be made to the project team.
17. Identify project risks / opportunities and participate in the management process
