Annual Salary: Competitive Location: UK-based with global travel Job Type: Full-time We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Field Service Engineer to join a reputable bespoke manufacturer within the FMCG sector. This role involves travel both within the UK and internationally, providing a dynamic work environment where no two days are the same. You will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and servicing a variety of manufacturing machinery, including filling and packaging machinery with PLCs. Day-to-day of the role: Travel across the UK and overseas to meet clients and service machinery. Install, maintain, and service a range of manufacturing machinery, focusing on filling and packaging machinery, including conveyors and PLCs. Stay away from home for a few days to a couple of weeks at a time, depending on the project requirements. Receive specialist manufacturer training. Work overtime, paid at your hourly rate in units of 15 minutes. Time and a third for up to 2 hours per day worked Monday to Friday. (Over 2 hours will be paid at time and a half). Time and a half for hours worked on Saturday Double time for all hours worked on Sunday or on a bank holiday. Required Skills & Qualifications: Proven experience as a Service Engineer, particularly in the manufacturing machinery sector. Mechanical, Electrical or Multi-Skilled background with a strong understanding of manufacturing processes. Willingness and ability to travel globally as required by the role. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
