Are you an enthusiastic and passionate Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) teacher looking for a new challenge? Do you want to inspire students to explore the world through language and culture? If so, we want you to join our dedicated team.
We are seeking a talented MFL teacher to join our vibrant department from September 2025. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to teach French, Spanish, or another language at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, with the potential to teach at Key Stage 5 for candidates with the right experience.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Deliver high-quality, engaging MFL lessons across a range of abilities and key stages.
2. Foster a love of languages and encourage cultural awareness among students.
3. Plan, prepare, and assess effective lessons that meet the needs of diverse learners.
4. Provide support and guidance to help students improve their speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills in the target language.
5. Contribute to extracurricular language activities and trips, helping students immerse themselves in the culture of the language they are studying.
6. Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the MFL curriculum and student outcomes.
Essential Requirements:
1. A relevant degree in French, Spanish, or another Modern Foreign Language, or a related subject.
2. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
3. A genuine passion for teaching languages and inspiring students to appreciate different cultures.
4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students.
5. Experience in planning and delivering effective MFL lessons.
6. Ability to differentiate teaching to support all learners, including those with varying levels of language proficiency.
