Operations and Facilities Manager
Private Equity in Mayfair
Up to £90,000 + bonus & benefits
Our client, an international Private Equity based in Mayfair is looking for an Operations and Facilities Manager to join their dynamic international and highly successful London team. Previous experience in financial services required (min 3-4 years). 5 days in office (no WFH).
Primary Responsibilities
Operations
* Responsible for the overall administration of office operations and facilities management.
* Provide ongoing analysis of space options to Management, working with the MD/Head of Europe and VP of Human Resources on construction/remodeling projects whenever needed.
* Maintain relationships with property management, vendors, contractors, and security.
* Schedule all routine service and maintenance including carpet/tile cleaning; painting, a/c; kitchen equipment, etc. and keep maintenance calendar current.
* Process all invoices for the office and ensure payment is made in a timely manner.
* Ensure that the office is in compliance with the disaster contingency plan.
* Maintain relationships with the corporate travel agency, ensuring travel policies are followed, high level of service is provided to travelers and that the firm receives the best pricing options.
* Assist with the annual Day of Service planning.
* Event planning.
Human Resources
* Assist with the two annual review cycles, (June and December) managing the performance evaluation process to ensure timeliness and completeness.
* Assist with the annual benefit review and open enrollment process.
* Responsible for new hire and termination processes, including background checks.
* Manage new employee orientation including distribution and explanation of benefit program materials.
* Maintain personnel files and employee census information.
Qualifications/Skills:
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Team player.
* Detail oriented; strong organisational and people skills.
* Regular, reliable attendance and punctuality. Flexibility to come in early or stay late as needed.
* Demonstrates proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook).
* Minimum 3-4 years’ experience in office management at a Growth Equity or Financial Services firm.
* Bachelor Degree preferred.
