This is an exciting opportunity to join Monahans, where you'll play a key role in delivering exceptional accounting services to a diverse client base. As part of our team, you’ll be responsible for producing high-quality financial reports, building strong client relationships, and supporting business growth. Key Responsibilities
* Analysing, interpreting, and auditing client data, checking for missing information and resolving discrepancies.
* Planning and prioritising work according to client and partner needs, deadlines, and requirements.
* Producing draft year-end and management accounts with clear and structured working papers.
* Completing basic tax computations.
* Preparing detailed schedules for each set of accounts to ensure accuracy and logical analysis.
* Identifying issues with client-provided information and liaising with them for resolution.
* Drafting correspondence to clients, tax offices, and other relevant bodies.
* Producing accounts, schedules, and letters using Word, IRIS, and Excel.
* Maintaining productive relationships with key clients and handling specific queries or issues.
* Providing coaching, feedback, and support to less experienced team members.
* Delegating work effectively while ensuring clear expectations and timescales.
* Providing feedback to partners on business and operational concerns.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
* ACA/ACCA qualified/part qualified, AAT Level 4 or qualified by experience.
* Preparation of statutory accounts (FRS102 and FRS105). Preparation of corporation and personal tax computations. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel & Word.
* Effective communication and strong customer service skills.
* Excellent prioritisation and time management.
* Ability to work in an organised manner to strict deadlines.
* Strong interpersonal skills for building relationships.
